Five fighters who competed at UFC on ESPN 63 in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday were given indefinite medical suspensions due to possible injuries.
However, these five did not include headliners Joaquin Buckley and Colby Covington. Although Buckley (21-6 MMA, 11-4 UFC) was declared the winner due to a medical stoppage due to a laceration, Covington (17-5 MMA, 12-5 UFC) received only a 45-day suspension from Florida Athletic Commission (FAC ).
On Thursday, MMA Junkie received a full list of suspensions from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, the umbrella under which the FAC falls. In accordance with state law, no details about the injuries were released.
Check out the full list below. Fighters may return earlier than the completion of their suspension if cleared by a doctor (unless otherwise stated).
