Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee has been talked about a lot in the rumor mill this season. This was also the case last offseason, so he is a player to pay attention to as the 2025 NHL trade deadline approaches.

That’s why we’re going over three possible trade destinations for Farabee if they decide to make a move.
Buffalo saber
The Buffalo Sabers are a prime potential landing spot for Farabee. It’s no secret that they could use a top-six winger right now, and Farabee is exactly that when he’s at his best.
The Sabers have been linked to Farabee in the past, and that ultimately makes sense when you look at their group. Additionally, the struggling Sabers have the money to easily match the Syracuse native’s $5 million cap hit.
Anaheim Ducks
The Anaheim Ducks are a young and exciting team on the rise. Considering they have a lot of scope and want to become more competitive, they could be one to keep an eye on with Farabee in mind.
This is especially true when you consider that Farabee would be much more than just a loan deal, as he is still under contract until the end of 2027/28. Therefore, he could be a good part of the Ducks’ top six long-term if acquired.
Chicago Blackhawks
The Chicago Blackhawks could use more wingers to help out Connor Bedard, so they could be a club to keep an eye on when it comes to Farabee. Looking at their lineup, he would potentially fit into their top six and power play.
The Blackhawks also have a number of prospective UFA forwards such as Taylor Hall, Ryan Donato, Pat Maroon and Craig Smith. So an experienced player with a term like Farabee might get their attention.
